Hydraulic Power Unit (Electric HPU)
One (1) main electro-hydraulic power unit.
The 125hp HPU is designed and sized for operation of one (1) winch at a time under nominal conditions.
Multiple winches can be operated under reduced conditions.
The power unit includes one (1) motor/pump group. The group consists of a 125HP NEMA TEFC electric motor and a gear pump. The unit operates in an open loop configuration.
Triple section pump: main working oil for winches, pilot oil supply and cooling fan supply.
The electric motor (IP56) is rated for 480VAC/3ph/60Hz power supply.
Return oil filter mounted on top of the reservoir, 10-micron absolute with indicator and bypass
Suction gate valves
Steel tank painted internally with Glyptal
Access cleanout covers, internal baffles, and a drain connection.
The HPU is enclosed in a steel frame complete with lifting lugs.
The HPU is complete with an air over oil cooler.
An oil level and temperature gauge are mounted on the side of the tank visible to the operator.
HPU Starter Panel
One (1) centrally located NEMA 4X direct online starter panel is mounted to the HPU, located directly above the operator control console.
